Margie Phillips, RN, MS
American Red Cross
Margie earned her BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970 and her Master of Science degree at the University of South Carolina in 1987. Her professional roles have spanned clinical practice, nursing education, and administration, with Cardiovascular care her primary area of expertise. She is currently Director of Donor Management with Team Carolinas of the American Red Cross. Her professional memberships include Sigma Theta Tau International, the American Association of Blood Banks and the American Society for Apheresis. Past activities include certification and item writing for the American Association of Critical Care Nursing, and membership on the Board of The American Heart Association.
