  Daniel E. Wise, MD, FACC

The Presbyterian Center for preventive cardiology is under the medical direction of cardiologist Daniel Wise, MD. A specialist in preventive cardiology and lipid disorders. Dr. Wise received his medical degree from Ohio State University Medical School. His internship and residency training were at Memorial Hospital, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Dr. Wise completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Disease and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Wise is also a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

After 24 years of caring for cardiac patients in the Charlotte area, Dr. Wise joined Presbyterian's Cardiovascular Institute to create the Center for Preventive cardiology, lipid management and clinical research combine to provide patients with this comprehensive cardiovascular disease program. Dr. Wise provides medical direction and cares for patients in each program offered by the Center for Preventive Cardiology.
